Empowering Women Visibility at Fagron Gender diversity matters. A passionate initiative at Fagron is to promote female leadership visibility.
We can proudly say that Fagron is doing a great job at gender diversity, as 55% of our colleagues are women! But we know there is still room for improvement when it comes to female presence in all levels of the organization. Now more than ever we need strong and empowering female role models and a culture that celebrates female talent.
Let’s learn from the outstanding journeys of women around the world. Here are the stories and visibility tips of three amazing Fagron female leaders: Ana Fidélis (Business Leader of Infinity Pharma Brazil), Belén Pérez (VP Operations, Fagron Services North America), and Ana Ljahnicky (Business Leader Fagron Croatia).
The journey of Ana Fidélis…
My journey at Fagron started 19 years ago at the then Pharma Nostra in Brazil. I started my career as a Pharmacist focused on Regulatory Affairs. After a lot of effort and help from my team and Leader Latin America, Ivan Marostica, since 2018 I am the Business Leader of Infinity Pharma Brazil.
I am extremely proud of being part of the Fagron Family, and to work for a company that encourages everyone to follow their dreams regardless of gender.
“It’s all about mentality”
My best visibility tip is to encourage all women to forget gender obstacles. Don’t be afraid to speak loud, if you want to be known at a company you need to give your opinion. Don’t be afraid to go after what you want. If you want to take a management position you need to want it, to be open to learn, and to put your heart into it. Work hard, and if you really want it, you could be a manager, General Manager, CEO… Why not? Go for it!

… Belén Pérez moved from Spain to the US with her family
I initiated my career at Fagron Ibérica in 2001, as a Quality Control Trainee in the laboratory! In these 20 years, I’ve had a look behind the scenes in many positions and different departments, and this knowledge has led me to where I stand right now as Leader of Fagron Services North America.
“Growing also means taking risks”
Two years ago, when Fagron offered me the chance to become a leader at the other side of the world, I jumped on the opportunity. Although it meant to move my whole life and my family to a different country, I knew it was the right step, because growing also means taking risks. It took only 2 days for me to accept this new challenge.
I am extremely proud of my team at Fagron Services North America. As a Leader, my biggest accomplishment is whenever the work of my team gets recognized by our customers, our colleagues, and our fellow Leaders in the Fagron family.

… Ana Ljahnicky loves to encourage women to take action!
I started working at Fagron Croatia on 2016 as a Pharmaceutical Sales Manager, and in January 2021 I started my current position to lead Fagron Croatia. First as Commercial Manager, leading Sales, Marketing an Customer Service. Later as allround Business Leader for team Fagron Croatia. In my case, becoming a Leader occurred quite spontaneously, I was always myself and spoke my mind, it was very simple in my case.
“The biggest learning of my career is to never stop learning”
On top of being a leader I am a mother of two children, and a Pharmacist who is really passionate about compounding and personalized medicine. The biggest learning of my career is to never stop learning, and my Fagron Family colleagues have demonstrated me that everyone has valuable assets that one can pick up from.
I’m sure that by showcasing examples of real women that have managed to break the norm we can encourage a lot of women in the company to take action.
