Fagron Advanced Derma ensures continuous care for the skin during the exacerbation and maintenance phases and guarantees maximum patient comfort for optimal compliance and results All vehicles are developed and scientifically tested to help pharmacists compound stable preparations with a broad range of active pharmaceutical (APIs) and dermaceutical ingredients (DCIs). A wide range of compatibility and stability studies have been conducted to support prescribers and pharmacists in vehicle selection as part of the treatment consideration. For easier prescribing and compounding for each indication, we have also developed a compounding formulary with a variety of formulations.

The Fagron Advanced Derma vehicles are free from parabens, boric acid, Ethoxylates and 1,4-dioxane, Formaldehyde donors, mineral oils, Propylene Glycol, Benzyl alcohol and benzyl benzoate, peanut oil, fragrances and dyes, triclosan, lanolin (wool fat), Phthalates, Para-aminobenzoic acid, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS), Nitrosamines.

Versatile™ Anhydrous

Versatile™ Anhydrous is a slightly occlusive and film-forming base cream, which is readily absorbed into the dermis in a few minutes after application. Due to its low water activity, it accommodates a variety of active ingredients, while allowing for extended beyond-use date. Versatile™ Anhydrous contains built-in antioxidants, being suitable for oxidation-sensitive APIs such as tretinoin and hydroquinone, and can hold up to 50% of APIs.
